Casting your vote is one thing. Making sure it counts is another.
As part of our Count Me In campaign Faith in Action hosted a virtual call on election protection — covering where certification can be contested, how to prepare for interference beyond Election Day, and how to coordinate when democratic processes come under pressure.

We were joined by Attorney Denise Lieberman of the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition.

Because the work does not stop on Election Day.

This weekend Faith in Action was part of the Shared Future gathering in Houston — and what happened there matters.

Faith leaders, community organizers, and everyday people came together to share their stories, sharpen their organizing skills, and figure out how to protect immigrant families in their communities.

These were Connected Americans. US citizens whose own families, churches, and neighborhoods are being directly impacted by detention and deportation. People with real skin in this game.

They left ready to go home and do something about it.

Because this fight does not just belong to immigrants. It belongs to everyone whose life is touched by them. And in this country — that is all of us.
