🕊️ Six years ago today, George Floyd was murdered by a Minneapolis police officer. He should still be alive today. We honor his memory, hold his loved ones in our prayers, and recommit ourselves to the work ahead.

✨ We will keep organizing for a Minnesota where every person across race and place can live with dignity, safety, and belonging.

Join us for Architects of a New America: Reimagining Freedom Together - 250th Anniversary Training, which takes place June 16–19, 2026 in Allentown, PA.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence - a moment to reflect not only on the country we’ve inherited, but to actively shape the country we aspire to build.

The Architects of a New America: Reimagining Freedom Together training will foreground faith and spirituality as a catalyst for the country we aspire to be. Together, we will reimagine what it means to be free and engage the liberatory practices needed to build a vibrant and expansive democracy. https://faithinaction.tfaforms.net/4927812

We filed an amicus brief for the Supreme Court hearing, and we are leading discussions with Senators. Today, clergy, Haitian leaders, and allies are meeting with Congressional staffers on Capitol Hill to discuss the importance of extending TPS for Haitians.

Haitian advocates, faith leaders and Senate Democrats are ramping up efforts to pass H.R. 1689, legislation that would extend TPS protections for Haitians through 2027 amid an ongoing Supreme Court case.

📢 Today, people of faith and moral courage across the country are taking action against a proposed reconciliation bill that would spend another $70 billion expanding ICE and CBP while families struggle to afford basic needs.

As people of faith, we believe budgets are moral documents. We are called to protect human dignity, care for our neighbors, and stand with the vulnerable - not fund systems that separate families and spread fear.

Take 2 minutes to call and email your Member of Congress and urge them to vote NO. https://act.faithinaction.org/a/tell-your-members-of-congress-vote-no-on-the-reconciliation-bill

“Our hearts are aggrieved by the deadly attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego today. Our prayers are with the families of those lost in today’s deadly attack. Our world’s religions call for peace with one another. While we support the grieving families and community, may we as people of faith and moral courage find our way to one another with olive branches, not bullets.” - Bishop Dwayne Royster, executive director, Faith in Action

We are devastated to learn of the horrific and deadly attack on . The Islamic Center of San Diego is a pillar of community organizing in San Diego County and beyond, and we hold its clergy, staff, and community members in our hearts through this pain. We are grieving with our siblings in San Diego as we mourn the senseless loss of life, including Amin Abdullah, the courageous security guard who was killed protecting everyone inside. May Allah grant him the highest levels of paradise.

Let us be unequivocally clear: No person should EVER fear for their safety while in worship. Not a single child should EVER have to fear for their lives while learning in elementary school. This is the bare minimum, and if we do not do all that we can to hold this line, then we have failed our communities.
