Save NOAA = Save Honeybees = Save Ourselves

The past three months since the gutting of NOAA and the National Weather Service have been exhausting as we never know from one day to the next what the weather bring. Having wildly Inaccurate weather forecasts has been playing havoc with our work as beekeepers.

There is a lot of nuance for why and why it's different now than for previous generations but the short answer is:

We need NOAA and NWS back at full force asap. Beekeepers rely on good weather Intel to manage bees. The vast majority of colonies in our temperate U.S. are managed. Without honeybees our food systems are impacted.
