It’s Black Breastfeeding Week! 💜

August 25–31, Black Breastfeeding Week is a time to celebrate Black families who breastfeed while uplifting the importance of culturally affirming lactation support, community care, and equitable access to resources.

This week, we honor the strength, knowledge, and experiences of Black parents while celebrating the communities that surround and support families throughout their feeding journeys.

Every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered. Together, we can help create more spaces where Black families have access to the care, resources, and support they need to reach their feeding goals and thrive. ✨🍼

Mama Mingles is going virtual! ✨👀

Introducing Mama Mingles: Virtual Early Postpartum Edition, a free 4-week virtual series created for mamas in the first 12 weeks after birth.

Early motherhood can bring a lot of emotions, changes, challenges, and quiet wins. This series offers a space to pause, connect, and be supported by other mamas and one of our Perinatal Mental Health Specialists.

Each 60-minute session will center community, real talk, and gentle support. Come as you are—camera on or off, baby in arms or not. You belong here.

Class Themes:
• Week 1: Honoring the Fourth Trimester | Sept. 2 & Oct. 7
• Week 2: Emotional Well-Being & Postpartum Identity | Sept. 9 & Oct. 14
• Week 3: Maximizing Rest & Recovery in Postpartum | Sept. 16 & Oct. 21
• Week 4: Asking for & Accepting Support | Sept. 23 & Oct. 28

Please note: This is a 4-week series, and each session is offered on two different dates. You must register for each session individually. Registering for one class does not automatically enroll you in the remaining sessions.

Join us for a space where you can show up exactly as you are. 💜

Motherhood shouldn’t mean running on empty. 🤎

The invisible load is real. Too often, mothers are expected to carry it all—caregiving, working, planning, and showing up for everyone else—leaving little room to care for themselves.

As uché blackstock, md shares in this video, how can we better show up for mothers like Dominique Dillon before their exhaustion becomes this visible?

Moms deserve grace, rest, and a village that shows up for them, too.
