⚡💡Internship Opportunity💡⚡
We are seeking a proactive self-starter to join our team for the month of June as a 2026 Annual Conference intern! 🔎
🤝 This is a short-term, hybrid, unpaid opportunity, geared towards current students or recent graduates interested in international development, events, and/or nonprofit operations.
➡️ Academic and/or work experience in international development; international relations; communications and/or event planning preferred
➡️ Ability to solve problems creatively, pay meticulous attention to detail, and work well on a small team
➡️ Possess initiative and the ability to work independently, while also being receptive to direction
➡️ Able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and retain an optimistic outlook under pressure
➡️ Strong commitment to international development
➡️ Excellent written and oral communication skills
➡️ Very strong organizational and interpersonal skills
➡️ Familiarity with social media management, including scheduling and planning platforms
➡️ Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CiviCRM, and HTML a plus
➡️ Ability to work with consideration towards course scheduling. Ideally available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
➡️ Experience in planning conferences and meetings is a plus (not required)
The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience supporting a major professional Conference, receive a complimentary SID-US membership, and be able to access valuable opportunities to network with leaders and practitioners in the field. Availability for in-person work, including June 17-18 during the Annual Conference, is required.
