New working paper: Supporting women-led businesses in India

Our new working paper synthesizes findings from four process evaluations of programs supporting collective and group-based models for women-led businesses in India.

3ie led three evaluations of projects by ACCESS Development Services, URMUL Trust, and Chitrika Foundation, while IDinsight evaluated the program by IMAGO Global Grassroots and SEWA.

Commissioned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as part of 3ie’s Swashakt program, this study sheds light on key strategies to enhance women’s economic empowerment.
