PrEP is one of the most effective tools we have to prevent HIV.

As Chair of the Congressional HIV/AIDS Caucus, I’m honored to join Rep. Don Bacon in introducing a resolution to mark today as National PrEP Day to help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and educate people across the country on this proven HIV prevention tool.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a time to celebrate those who first called this land home.

UFCW Local 247 stands with Indigenous communities in confronting the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization. The labour movement stands for solidarity and unity in the face of division and hate.

Just days before the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a gathering of white nationalists on Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc lands sought to mock and intimidate communities impacted by the atrocity of Canada’s residential schools. This was a cowardly act of ignorance and hate.

Let us be reminded that there are more of us than there are of them.
