CCP is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation Leveraging resources for resurgent riverfront communities to connect people & instill lasting improvements. We partner with other organizations, residents and local businesses to support education and the environment in DC, NC, DR and beyond. The Near Southeast/Capitol Riverfront Community needed an organization to manage contributions from corporations & o
ther organizations in the area. The CCP Board has decades of experience and was the perfect conduit for this purpose. As a result of this success, NSCP was awarded the $650,000 CSX Community Mitigation Fund. NSCP established the CSX Virginia Avenue Tunnel Mitigation Fund Committee in 2015 to review applications for community enhancement and temporary inconvenience as a result of the tunnel project. As a result of expansion, NSCP changed its name to Capital Community Partners and expanded our reach. CCP and our directors have won several awards and 2 of our members were credited with saving lives during the Capper Senior Building fire in 2018.
