This webinar is led by members of NN4Y’s National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC), young people with lived expertise of homelessness. Participants will learn about key legal rights related to housing, healthcare, education, workplace protections, vital documents, and safety. This webinar is open to young people, service providers, advocates, and anyone interested in supporting youth experiencing homelessness.

Yesterday, Trinady Maddock, our Senior Policy Associate, and Iliana Delgado, a rising 2L and our Summer Legal Intern, had the opportunity to attend the Reconnecting Youth Campaign's congressional briefing on the importance of expanding high-quality education and workforce training opportunities to meet the needs of young people. These investments are key to preventing and ending youth homelessness!

Today, July 15, the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Runaway Homeless Youth Training, Technical Assistance, and Capacity Building Center (RHYTTAC) was released. This NOFO funds the training and technical assistance for RHYA grantees.

Applications due Friday, August 14 + $2.5 Million in expected funding for one award.

Four other RHYA NOFOs are still expected. We will update you when they are released!
