As a sisterhood of collegiate women, our members mentor and empower broken women at the university while supporting each other.

The purpose of the HER is to create a safe space for genuine connections and mental, emotional, and spiritual healing, to generate a sense of unity among women, to help rebuild self-worth and self-esteem, and to empower women to be successful and effective at Howard University.

Megaphone Monday: Savannah.
You see this radiant woman in the picture above? She is joy, love, and uplift embodied. It is with overwhelming pride that we congratulate Savannah on her incredible accomplishment. Fourth Generation LadyDiva Savannah Bowen won a short story contest for the Sterling Allen Brown English Society here at Howard. Congratulations Savannah!

Boss Tuesday: Chelsea Brown.
is able to do just about everything and do it better than anyone. She is an invaluable asset to the LadyDiva HU Chapter and essential to the proper running of the organization. As a sister, her drive as well as her presence are uplifting and inspiring. It is impossible to leave an encounter with Chelsea and not feel encouraged to conquer the world!! She is instrumental in coaching (aka mommy of) the CHN step team. She is an RA in College Hall North. She is on Mock Trial. It would take far too long to list all of the many accomplishments or the roles she does for LadyDiva. However, it would be a disservice not to commemorate her as a Boss LadyDiva because she is so deeply appreciated within the organization as well as on campus.

Megaphone Monday: Tyleah
She is without a doubt a LadyDiva of many talents. Last Friday she was pivotal in a Fashion show that also served as an information session. The goal of it was to teach appropriate attire for all occasions. The ladies in attendance were able to then engage in a conversation about how to dress for success, while supporting each other in the rat race of life. Bravo Tyleah!
