As Teacher Appreciation Week comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank our incredible faculty for all that they do. From inspiring lessons to engaging activities, our teachers work so hard to make each day special for our students. They bring their passion and love of learning every day to foster wonder and curiosity in the classroom and in our communities.

Looking for a drop-in program for your toddler for the 2026-2027 school year?

Join us Monday and Tuesday mornings (9:30-11:30) starting in September and continuing through the academic year for the Smithsonian Early Explorer (SEE) program! SEE is a program for young children (18 months to 36 months when entering) and their caregiver that allows children to develop their physical, social, and cognitive growth while exploring museums.

“I really loved everything! The curriculum was designed so thoughtfully and Brianne really made everything digestible for the kids but didn't dumb it down. I have told everyone how much we loved it.”

“The creative way Brianne and the teachers used the museum exhibits to dive deep into each semester's book”

“We loved the rich course material and saw so much growth in our child over the year. And of course the wonderful teachers and staff. It was such a unique and enriching first introduction to formal education that has set our child up for great success in the future.”
