May is Lyme & Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month — and Congress has an opportunity to take meaningful action.

📢 Urge your Representative to support H.Res. 1279, recognizing May as National Lyme and Tick-Borne Disease Awareness Month, and support swift passage of the Kay Hagan Tick Reauthorization Act (H.R. 4348).

Millions of Americans are impacted by Lyme and other tick-borne diseases, including emerging threats like Alpha-gal syndrome, babesiosis, and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Awareness, research, surveillance, diagnostics, prevention, and treatment investments matter.

Contact your Representative today through our letter campaign and ask them to stand with patients, families, and advocates nationwide.

🧠 Big News! Center for Lyme Action (CLA) and NAPPA - National Alliance for PANS / Pandas Action are joining forces to advance the Infection Associated Neuropsychiatric Conditions Initiative — a national effort to secure federal recognition, research funding, and better care for those affected by infection-triggered brain and mental health conditions.

💬 “This initiative will unite researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to confront how infections can trigger profound neurological and psychiatric symptoms — and to ensure that patients are seen, treated, and believed across disciplines.

Because too many people are suffering in silence — caught between infectious disease and mental health systems that don’t yet speak the same language.

We can — and we must — change that.”
— Meghan Bradshaw, Government Relations Manager, Center for Lyme Action

This collaboration builds on CLA’s $500M+ in federal funding impact and our strong national advocacy networks — combining strengths to drive bold, lasting progress.
