When my family immigrated to the United States 20 years ago, I constantly found myself fantasizing of leaving. I love America, but despite learning to blend into my surroundings I never felt I belonged. I knew would have more to offer elsewhere. I traveled the world as I got older, learned other languages, cultures, made friends from every continent on the planet, and still could not help but feel lost. After things in my life took a turn for what I believed to be the worse at the time, I finally gave into the strong urge I felt of returning to Cameroon as kid.

I didn’t want my time spent abroad to have been in vain. I wanted others to be able to benefit from my experiences, but did not know in which capacity. So I wrote a book (https://amzn.to/32jXuKE 😉) to show them that having lived abroad made me no better than anyone. I started NOMAD PF&R in hopes to share our talents, culture, and ideas with the world. Most importantly, with the help of my mother Berthe, my uncle and brother Raould, my partner Yannick, and so many others who have lent their support and words of wisdom along the way, we were finally able to bring The ADO Foundation to fruition. As tumultuous as the past decade has been for me, I will always remember 2020 as the year I finally found my purpose.
