“This season we are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Conservatory, where Tchaikovsky taught and the composers featured at our February concert were students,” said Vera Danchenko-Stern, RCAS founder and artistic director. “In April, we will travel back in time to the Paris of Pauline Viardot, Feodor Chaliapin and Sergei Diaghilev, presenting French songs and arias as well as Russian—most appropriately given our venue, la Maison Française.”
