in action! This past Tuesday, our council held its monthly meeting at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew the Apostle. Topics of discussion included the Council’s latest activities and the coming annual selection of officers for the new fraternal year which formally begins on July 1st.

Immediately following the conclusion of the formal business portion of the meeting, our Brother Knights assembled hygiene kits to be donated to So Others Might Eat (SOME), a DC non-profit committed to providing material aid and comfort to the District’s most vulnerable.

Hygiene kits were also prepared for St. Matthew’s Monday Morning Ministry, a ministry under the Cathedral’s social justice committee that is dedicated to serving guests from the local neighborhood to meet their material and spiritual needs.
