🔴 Profile in Persecution: Hasan Ali Hasan Matar 🔴

◽️ Hasan Ali Hasan Matar was a 15-year-old minor and school student when he was arrested without a warrant on 13 November 2025 after summoning him to the Roundabout 17 Police Station.

◽️On 13 November 2025, Hasan left home in the afternoon to meet his friends, when he received a call from Roundabout 17 Police station without being informed of the reason for the summons.

◽️ Hasan was denied effective legal representation and access to a guardian during interrogation. Although the court appointed him a lawyer, they never communicated. And his family visits were also repeatedly restricted.

◽️During interrogation, officers subjected Hasan to beating and mistreatment, forcing him to confess.. Later, the coerced confession was used against him in court.

◽️Hasan suffers from serious injuries resulting from a 2022 traffic accident and underwent several surgeries. Despite repeated complaints of severe chest pain, the officers pepper-sprayed, beat, and denied him adequate medical treatment.

◽️ urges Bahraini authorities to immediately and unconditionally release 15 year old Hasan. It also calls to investigate torture, enforced disappearance, restriction on family visits, and deprivation of education.

🔴📢جديد ملف الاضطهاد: حسن علي حسن مطر

◽️كان حسن علي حسن مطر طفلًا قاصرًا وطالبًا يبلغ من العمر 15 عامًا عندما اعتقلته السلطات البحرينية من دون مذكرة توقيف في 13 نوفمبر 2025، بعد استدعائه إلى مركز شرطة دوار 17.

◽️في 13 نوفمبر 2025، غادر حسن منزله بعد الظهر للقاء أصدقائه، قبل أن يتلقى اتصالًا من مركز شرطة دوار 17 يستدعيه للحضور، دون إبلاغه بسبب الاستدعاء.

◽️حرم حسن من التمثيل القانوني الفعّال وحضور ولي أمره أثناء التحقيق. ورغم تعيين المحكمة محاميًا له، لم يتواصل معه مطلقًا، كما فُرضت قيود متكررة على زيارات عائلته.

◽️تعرّض حسن للضرب وسوء المعاملة على أيدي عناصر الأمن أثناء التحقيق، ما أجبره على الإدلاء باعترافات تحت وطأة التعذيب، استُخدمت لاحقًا ضده أمام المحكمة.

يعاني حسن من إصابات خطيرة ناجمة عن حادث سير عام 2022، خضع على إثرها لعدة عمليات جراحية. ورغم شكواه المتكررة من آلام شديدة في الصدر، تعرّض للضرب والرش برذاذ الفلفل، وحُرم من الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.

◽️تدعو السلطات البحرينية إلى الإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن حسن، البالغ من العمر 15 عامًا، والتحقيق في تعرّضه للتعذيب والاختفاء القسري وتقييد الزيارات العائلية وحرمانه من التعليم.

Profile in persecution: Mohamed Isa Abdulla Hasan

: Mohamad Isa Abdulla Hasan was a 16-year-old minor and school student, when Bahraini authorities arrested him on 1 March 2026 without a warrant while he was outside a grocery store in Nuwaidrat.

: On 1 March 2026, riot police in Nuwaidrat arrested several people during a peaceful demonstration to condemn the aggression against Iran, including Mohamed, who didn’t even join the demonstration.

: Mohamed was denied access to his lawyer and a fair trial. He was subjected to torture, beatings, threats and secterian insults to force a confession. His coerced confession was used in court, leading to a 3‑year sentence.

: Since his arrest, Mohamed’s family has visited him only twice. He lost his right to education and remains in Dry Dock Prison, where detainees report inhumane treatment, beatings, and sectarian abuse.

🔴⚫️ملف الاضطهاد: محمد عيسى عبد الله حسن

⚫️ كان محمد عيسى عبد الله حسن قاصرًا يبلغ من العمر 16 عامًا وطالبًا في المدرسة عندما اعتقلته السلطات البحرينية في 1 مارس 2026 من دون مذكرة توقيف، أثناء وجوده خارج أحد المتاجر في منطقة النويدرات.

⚫️ في 1 مارس 2026، اعتقلت قوات مكافحة الشغب في النويدرات عدة أشخاص خلال مظاهرة سلمية للتنديد بالعدوان على إيران، وكان محمد من بينهم، رغم أنه لم يشارك أصلًا في المظاهرة.

⚫️ حرم محمد من الوصول إلى محاميه ومن حقه في محاكمة عادلة. كما تعرّض للتعذيب والضرب والتهديد والإهانات الطائفية لإجباره على الاعتراف. واستُخدم اعترافه المنتزع بالإكراه أمام المحكمة، ما أدى إلى الحكم عليه بالسجن لمدة 3 سنوات.

⚫️ منذ اعتقاله، لم يسمح لعائلة محمد بزيارته سوى مرتين. كما حرم من حقه في التعليم، ولا يزال محتجزًا في سجن الحوض الجاف، حيث أفاد محتجزون بوجود معاملة لاإنسانية وضرب وإساءات طائفية.

⚫️ تحث السلطات البحرينية على الإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن محمد، البالغ من العمر 16 عامًا. كما تدعو إلى التحقيق في ادعاءات التعذيب والاختفاء القسري والحرمان من التعليم، وضمان محاسبة المسؤولين عن هذه الانتهاكات.

at Condemns Bahrain’s Detention and Medical Neglect of Opposition Leaders

In its statement under Item 3 of , highlighted the continued detention of elderly opposition leaders, including Hassan Mushaima (78), Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja (65), and Dr. Abduljalil Al-Singace (64), despite their serious chronic illnesses.

Under Item 3 of , highlighted the suffering of Dr. Abduljalil Al-Singace, denied treatment despite doctors’ recommendation for shoulder surgery. He has post-polio syndrome and serious chronic illnesses, and endured solitary confinement and a 1,000-day hunger strike.

Under Item 3 of , highlighted the deteriorating health of Hassan Mushaima, who suffers from serious chronic illnesses, and Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, who remains detained despite concerns over his health. Both face life-threatening medical neglect in Bahrain’s prisons.

In its statement under Item 3 of HRC63, calls for the immediate and unconditional release of elderly detainees, the provision of medical care, and accountability for those responsible for the violations.
