The Alabama Society C.A.R. had an incredible time at their 2025 Summer State Workshop in Mobile, AL! From exploring the USS Alabama and the Richard’s DAR House Museum to sharing ideas and goals for the year, it was a weekend full of history, inspiration, and excitement. N.S.C.A.R. Headquarters is getting a much needed refresh! The carpet and office space are being updated, and our amazing staff will be working remotely over the next month while renovations take place. During this time, things might move a little slower than usual, but rest assured, Alex and Arnold will still be coming in weekly to handle mail, emails, and other important tasks.

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped with this process. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a brand-new and improved HQ at the start of the new year!

The Georgia Society kicked off their 2025-2026 HUZZAH! to our Patriots State Workshop at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. State Chairmen’s creative activities, skits and displays helped members learn about the National & State programs. The Kids Helping Kids service project collected 419 boxes of Pop Tarts for local food pantries! The day concluded with a fun filled TreeTop Quest rope course. The Georgia State Project, aims to acquire informational storyboards and historical replica for Georgia revolutionary war historic sites to educate visitors and inspire future patriots. Congratulations to the Georgia State Society on a successful state workshop, and good luck throughout the rest of this year!

State President Kate Keesler had a whirlwind tour of New York’s four districts on her Triumph at Ticonderoga – America’s First Victory summer packet trip! From firing a cannon at Fort Ticonderoga and meeting oxen tied to Henry Knox’s artillery train, to exploring aviation “first victories” on Long Island, members celebrated history and this year’s national theme, Revolutionary Valor.

The North Carolina State Society met on August 2nd to learn about the 2025-2026 State Project, Proclaiming Victory, and to plan for the year ahead! The State will be supporting Victory Junction, a local non-profit camp that supports kids with chronic illnesses. After the meeting, North Carolina members enjoyed the 5th annual Summer Field Day, with some light competition, games, and a reenactment of Dr. Joseph Warren in The Battle of Bunker Hill! Members celebrated with a fun Hobby Horse Show and began promoting pin, coin, and horse sales to support Soldiers Freedom Outdoors: Homes for Heroes.
