On the National Day of Prayer, ICRD reflects on something central to our work: faith, in all its forms, has always been one of humanity's greatest tools for reconciliation.
Across traditions, prayer cultivates the humility and compassion that peacebuilding requires. Today we honor that β€” and the communities who live it out every day.

On National Day of Prayer, ICRD's very own Rebecca Cataldi, is joining Braver Angels and a growing coalition of faith-based bridge-builders β€” including Interfaith America, Faith250, and the Listen First Projectβ€” for a moment of shared reflection and prayer.

Together we'll reflect on Lincoln's Gettysburg Address and what its call for unity might offer us in this polarized moment.

Easter is a season of renewal β€” a reminder that after hardship, there is light. 🌸
For so many, that light comes not from one moment, but from the people who show up alongside them. Day after day. 🀝
This Easter, we're reflecting on the power of hope β€” and the work it takes to make hope real for everyone.
Wishing a joyful Easter to all who celebrate. And to our whole community: may this spring bring something new and good. πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈ

Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities are speaking with one voice: the decision to take a life must never be delegated to a machine.
The Faith Family Technology Network has released a powerful statement calling on Congress, the President, and the Department of War to protect freedom of conscience and keep humans in control of AI-powered weapons.
ICRD stands with this call.

As AI becomes an increasingly powerful tool in military contexts, one question must not be left unanswered: who is responsible when a machine takes a life?
ICRD has joined faith leaders and scholars in urging Congress to establish clear legal boundaries β€” ensuring that humans, not algorithms, always make the final call.

Passover reminds us that the story of liberation isn't just history β€” it's a call to action. πŸ•―οΈ
Each year we retell it, we ask ourselves: who still needs freedom? Who in our community is still searching for belonging, safety, and dignity?
This Passover, we're grateful for every person who shows up β€” to the table, and to the work. πŸ·πŸ«“
Chag Sameach to all who celebrate. May this season renew our shared commitment to a more just and compassionate world. 🌿

At ICRD, we honor the women building peace, strengthening communities, challenging injustice, and driving meaningful change. From frontline community leaders to global peacemakers, their leadership shapes the moral and social foundations on which just and lasting peace depends.

Where women thrive and lead, communities are stronger, peace is more durable, and the path to a more just future becomes possible.
