This week, we had the honor of representing PERK at the White House Faith Office Briefing. We left encouraged—not because every problem has been solved, but because we were invited into conversations about what comes next.

The work didn’t end when the briefing concluded. We continued meeting with faith leaders and other attendees to develop actionable recommendations that will be shared with a senior advisor to the President. That’s where real progress begins.

Throughout the day, we heard a consistent message about courage, conviction, faith, and protecting what matters most. spoke about the ongoing effort to locate the hundreds of thousands of missing migrant children. Dr. reflected on faith, family, and preserving the values we pass to future generations. Pastor Paula White-Cain shared the 's commitment to partnering with faith leaders to serve our nation. The Creative Director reminded us that purpose is often found by following the path we’ve been called to, while Assistant to the President Will Scharf spoke about remaining true to our faith and convictions in public life and policy alongside 'swork on behalf of Americans.

We also learned that an estimated 344 million people around the world will face persecution for their faith this year—a sobering reminder that religious liberty is a freedom worth protecting.

For us, the greatest takeaway wasn’t simply who spoke or where we were. It was the opportunity to ensure California families had a voice in the room—and to be asked, “What solutions do you have?”

Now we’d like to ask you the same question.

If you have ideas that could strengthen parental rights, protect educational access, or better support families in California, we want to hear them. PERK has always been built by families standing together, and we’ll continue carrying your voices into every room we’re blessed to enter.

This isn’t the end of the conversation. It’s the beginning of the work.

Today, I’m honored to be heading to the White House after receiving an invitation from the White House Faith Office.

As President of PERK (Protection of the Educational Rights of Kids), I don’t take opportunities like this for granted. Every conversation, every seat at the table, and every chance to represent the families we serve is a reminder of why we began this work in the first place.

I don’t know exactly where today’s conversations will lead, but I do know that meaningful change often begins with the willingness to show up, listen, build relationships, and speak with conviction.

I’m grateful for everyone who has supported PERK, stood alongside us, and believed that parents, children, and families deserve a voice. This moment belongs to all of us, and I’m looking forward to seeing what doors God may choose to open next.

Please keep our team in your prayers as we continue this journey.

Alix Mayer and Amy Bohn at Freedom Fest 2026. Get a quick update on two great California nonprofits working toward the common goal of protecting health freedom.  While at Freedom Fest, Amy and Alix caught up on work each of their organizations is doing.  Given the challenges within California, be rest assured that many of us in professional organizations are working together towards the cause.  Free Now Foundation has several active lawsuits to help protect health freedom. PERK has 23 advocacy campaigns to help you take quick action to protect health freedom and sponsored bipartisan-authored health freedom legislation earlier this year. The combination of advocacy, action, policy, and legal work is a winning strategy.

Director of Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard released a press release before leaving office along with documents regarding Anthony Fauci and his role in funding the Wuhan lab research that sparked Covid. Gabbard also stated there's new evidence manipulated intelligence and lied to Congress.

These actions of suppressing the truth led to countless health freedom warriors and journalists being relentlessly censored, causing harm to the American people. The press release was issued on June 18th, 2026.

Here's a breakdown of some of what the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released and what it means.

Some films stay with you. SHINE is one of them. In six minutes it asks the question almost no one dares to say out loud: what if your desires, your choices, even your thoughts were never fully your own? It was directed by 14 year old Azai Willis, son of filmmaker Mikki Willis, and won Best Documentary Short at the Santa Monica International Film Festival. On June 30th they premiere it live and free, with a father and son conversation afterward that no mainstream platform is having.. The first time it has been shown outside the festival circuit. 🚨 Justice Department Launches Investigations Concerning Gender Ideology in Pre-K-12 Schools in 36 Illinois School Districts

“This Department of Justice is determined to put an end to local school authorities keeping parents in the dark about how sexuality and gender ideology are being pushed in classrooms,” said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “Supreme Court precedent leaves no doubt: parents have the fundamental right and primary authority to direct the care, upbringing, and education of their children. This includes exempting their children from ideological instruction that contradicts their values or decisions about their children’s health and best interests.”
