Join us in welcoming Paola Mosquera to the BWINTAF Board of Directors!
Paola is former Colombian Diplomat with over nine years of experience in the analysis of foreign and social development policy and the design, implementation, and management of education, gender equality and ethnic inclusion projects and programs in Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States.
Most recently, she served as the Private Secretary to the first Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Colombia where she was in charge of overseeing the Minister’s staff and managed the Minister’s schedule and agenda. Paola has also served as Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Colombia in Trinidad and Tobago, where she managed and implemented multiple projects of the bilateral agenda between Colombia and and the Southern Caribbean: Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Guyana, Barbados and Grenada. She culminated her diplomatic posting as the Chargé d’Affairs a.i.
Paola is a native of the state of Chocó, Colombia. She holds a Master of Arts degree in International Development and Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and graduated summa cm laude from Benedict College with a BA in Political Science and International Relations. She also holds a certificate in Social Impact Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
