An evening of celebration, inspiration, and unforgettable performances! 🎤 🎵 Award-winning international singer Mary Millben captivated guests with special performances at the 2026 National ACE Awards Gala, bringing her extraordinary talent to an evening celebrating our honorees and the National ACE community.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our Master of Ceremonies, Shern-Min Chow; the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Houston Consortium for presenting the colors; and Cencira Te’o, President of the Pacific Island Chamber of Commerce, for performing the National Anthem.

At , Connecting Communities: Telecom Innovation & Opportunity explored how broadband, wireless technology, and digital infrastructure can help businesses and communities stay connected. What does it take to help small businesses navigate a world that keeps changing? At our lunch plenary, leaders brought together perspectives on technology, economic development, and the opportunities ahead for entrepreneurs, while new research helped us better understand the businesses at the heart of those conversations.

Thank you to emcee Shern-Min Chow, former KHOU 11 anchor and owner of SMC Production; and speakers Pavan Pidugu, former Chief Digital & Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Transportation; U.S. Representative Sylvia Garcia; and Larry McManus of the Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office for joining us on the National ACE stage.

We also welcomed Bill Imada, Founder, Chairman, and Chief Connectivity Officer of IW Group, who presented Insights at Scale: What NORC Survey Data Reveals. His presentation added a research-driven perspective to the day, helping us look beyond individual business stories to better understand the broader small business community.

Our 2026 National ACE Annual Conference opened with perspectives from leaders across the corporate, public, and business communities, setting the stage for a day of learning, collaboration, and new connections. Houston brought the energy. Our community brought the momentum!

More than 700 entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, policymakers, and innovators came together for the 2026 National ACE Annual Conference, turning a day in Houston into an exchange of fresh perspectives, ambitious ideas, and new opportunities for small business.

From thought-provoking mainstage conversations and six expert-led breakout sessions to a bustling exhibitor marketplace, the conference showcased what happens when people from different industries and backgrounds come together to learn, connect, and help move entrepreneurship forward.

We were honored to welcome leaders from across business, government, and community, including Dr. Kjell Lindgren of NASA; Ram Palaniappan of EarnIn; U.S. Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia; Pavan Pidugu, former Chief Digital & Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Transportation; Steve Kean of Greater Houston Partnership; Texas Railroad Commissioner Wayne Christian; Texas State Senator Carol Alvarado; Texas State Representatives Gene Wu and Christina Morales; Gigi Lee of the City of Houston Mayor’s Office; Houston Council Member Tiffany D. Thomas.

As the day turned to evening, we celebrated leaders whose journeys remind us how far vision, perseverance, and service can reach. At the 2026 National ACE Awards Gala, we recognized:
