Aiding suffering humanity in the DC Metro area through community-based programs and events

Our mission is to aid suffering humanity through community-based programs and events that
foster self-improvement and personal empowerment. Current services include recovery and peer support services, distribution of food, apparel, health and wellness supplies and literature. Services are rendered once a month with access to on-site providers in the areas of veteran affairs, mental health, employ

ment services, barber services, HIV testing, Blood pressure screenings and other services rendered by various government agencies, non-profit entities and other wellness companies. We welcome your support.

100% of the funds and/or supplies collected on behalf of any Deeds of Kindness Outreach
effort go directly to those in need.

What a wonderful day. 95 degrees, but that didn’t stop our momentum.

Zumba, Mental Health Awareness Month workshop, lunch (meatball subs), groceries (chicken legs, fish, rice, crackers, and more), and last but not least…hope and encouragement.

Special recognition to our CSOSA volunteers and our volunteers from Unity of Hope, Pastor Cynthia Hatcher Carr on site.

And as always, Mr. Robert Wynter for grocery pick up on Fridays, and Mrs. Shiela Bracey, Community Liaison, who delivers groceries to Seniors and families in need around the DMV on behalf of DOK.
