Areas of work include reforming public schools, educating children and lobbying the government to improve education Policy. The flagship project of school reform is the SMB Fatima Jinnah Government School in Karachi , which has been transformed to a vibrant Centre of learning through a combination of infrastructural development, administrative upheaval, academic reform and the introduction of extra-curricular activities and student development courses such as art, sports, chess, health and abuse awareness workshops, etc. We envision this school as a model that we continuously present to the government to be adopted and replicated in public schools across the country. Zindagi Trust also run a non-formal education program, called Paid to Learn, which provides primary education to working children from urban slums across Pakistan.
