Areas of work include reforming public schools, educating children and lobbying the government to improve education Policy. The flagship project of school reform is the SMB Fatima Jinnah Government School in Karachi , which has been transformed to a vibrant Centre of learning through a combination of infrastructural development, administrative upheaval, academic reform and the introduction of extr

a-curricular activities and student development courses such as art, sports, chess, health and abuse awareness workshops, etc. We envision this school as a model that we continuously present to the government to be adopted and replicated in public schools across the country. Zindagi Trust also run a non-formal education program, called Paid to Learn, which provides primary education to working children from urban slums across Pakistan.

Music, conversations, and a whole lot of curiosity filled the halls when Aashir Wajahat Rauf visited a Zindagi Trust adopted government school this Mother’s Day.

From jamming with students to witnessing their confidence, creativity, and learning firsthand, it was a reminder of what becomes possible when children are given the right opportunities.

And this is just the beginning, he promised to come back soon.
