DCBC Open Enrollment is open now through August 30 and offering member churches in good standing access to medical, dental, and vision coverage options. Participating churches may choose from four Kaiser health plans, two dental plans, and one vision option - providing flexibility to select coverage that best supports their needs.

Churches interested in learning more about available plans or the enrollment process are encouraged to contact Lashanor Doolittle at [email protected]. DCBC remains committed to supporting the health and well-being of those who faithfully serve our congregations and communities.

Showcase Your Organization at DCBC’s 149th Annual Gathering!

The DC Baptist Convention is inviting organizations, ministries, businesses, and community partners to become exhibitors at the 149th Annual Gathering of Churches on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Washington, DC.

This one-day gathering offers exhibitors an opportunity to connect directly with DCBC churches, ministry leaders, and attendees in an exhibit area strategically located in the heart of event foot traffic. Beverages and snacks will be available nearby to encourage attendees to visit, connect, and learn more about participating organizations. Exhibitors may also purchase a full- or half-page advertisement in the digital Program Book for additional visibility.

DCBC Trustee Training Is Here!

The DC Baptist Convention invites church trustees to join its virtual Trustee Training on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. ET via Zoom.

Trustees serve an important role as “Keepers of God’s House.” This practical training will cover trustee roles and responsibilities, confidentiality and conflict-of-interest policies, reporting requirements, church documents, facility oversight and safety, and ways to proactively address legal liabilities.

Participants will also receive ready-to-use resources and templates to take back to their churches.

DCBC joins the Baptist World Alliance and Baptists around the world in prayer for the nations of The Gambia, Cabo Verde, and Senegal this week.

May God strengthen the churches and communities throughout these nations and bring peace, hope, and encouragement to all who call them home.

DCBC Executive Director/Minister Rev. Dr. Trisha Miller Manarin recently had the opportunity to connect with St. Mary’s Baptist Church Interim Pastor Jason Jones.

We are grateful for the relationships that strengthen our DCBC family and for the pastors and congregations faithfully serving their churches and communities.

On August 24, Ukraine will mark the 35th anniversary of its Independence.

The Baptist World Alliance invites Christians around the world to unite in prayer for Ukraine amid the ongoing suffering caused by the war. The global Baptist family is encouraged to pray for an end to the war, for the people and future of Ukraine, and for a just and lasting peace.

DCBC joins the Baptist World Alliance in this call to prayer and invites our churches and congregations to stand together in prayer with the people of Ukraine.
