Life is definitely a cabaret at the Palisades Hub this weekend!

Join DC Cabaret Network this Friday, May 29th in the acoustically-rich Sanctuary for a special Evening of Cabaret with Lina Koutrakos & Gregory Toroian .

Then on Saturday May 30th Lina and Gregory will lead a 5 hour master class in the Sanctuary.

And to top it all off, Heather Frank will perform "Dear Blossom" inspired by the musical life of Blossom Dearie this Sunday at 4pm.

Did you know… the Social Hall was designed for performance from the very beginning?

Built as part of the Sanctuary expansion in the late 1930s, the hall included a stage, curtains, dressing rooms, and space for community gatherings and events. Over the years, it hosted plays, movie nights, dinner theater, music programs, lectures, potlucks, dances, and countless neighborhood gatherings.

This space was always meant to bring people together through creativity, performance, and community.

Today, the Social Hall continues that tradition. We host Open Mic every first Tuesday of the month, Community-Powered Events open to all, classes ranging from gymnastics to exercise and wellness programs, concerts, dinners, and gatherings of all kinds. ✨
