Dr. Gary Schiller now serves as Chair, with Dr. Roy L. Silverstein stepping into the role of Secretary-Treasurer and Dr. Andrew M. Evens continuing as Vice Chair. Dr. Mark Crowther transitions from Chair to Director, where he will continue supporting ASH RC’s mission with his leadership and expertise.

ASH RC is thrilled to announce the publication of a new paper in Blood Advances: “The ASH Research Collaborative Sickle Cell Disease Research Network: past, present, and future.” The manuscript highlights how the Network is transforming sickle cell disease research through real-world data analytics, multicenter collaboration, and meaningful community engagement.

This paper summarizes the progress and future direction of the ASH Research Collaborative’s Network, which is designed to overcome research barriers and accelerate progress toward better care and new treatments for individuals living with sickle cell disease.
