The 2026 AHEPA Citrus District 2 Convention was held in Lakeland, Florida this past weekend, hosted by AHEPA Chapter 464 of Winter Haven.

At the request of our Supreme President Chris Kaitson, Supreme Governor Steve Nickolson presided over the installation of the newly elected District Lodge.

Empire District 6 also concluded their District Convention in Port Jefferson, NY. The newly elected District Lodge were sworn in by Supreme Vice President Dr. Zenon Christodoulou, Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos and Supreme Governor Dean Moskos. Supreme Counselor Theodore Stamas served as the Convention Chairman.

The newly elected District Lodge was headed up by District Governor Konstans G. Prentzas, Lt. Governor Michael Tribunella, District Secretary Harry Yiannakis, District Treasurer Peter Stamos, District Marshal Gregory Tsougranis, District Warden Anastasios Stampolis and District Director of Athletics Paul Macropoulos.

Supreme President Kaitson congratulates the brothers and looks forward to seeing them in Philadelphia at the 104th Supreme Convention.

Ahepa Supreme President Chris Kaitson attended the annual PSEKA conference in Washington DC, participating in a gala awards dinner hosted by President Philip Christopher and the organization.

This event united several groups from across the US and featured prominent Congressional members.

Savas Tsivicos, Alternate President and former Ahepa Supreme President, acknowledged community resilience and honored award recipients in a brief address.

Supreme Vice President Zenon Christodoulou joined with numerous Ahepans at the Capital Hilton event.

Robert E. Lee Ahepa Chapter 122's celebration, held in conjunction with the District 3 Convention, showcased the chapter's scholarships and featured Supreme President Chris Kaitson's inspiring discussion on AHEPA's impactful philanthropy.

After service at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Norfolk the chapter awarded their annual educational scholarships to deserving students.

Later the Supreme President traveled to Falls Church, VA to visit the brothers of the Peter Derzis Ahepa Chapter 438 as the assist at the annual festival.

Supreme President Kaitson participated in the awarding of the Ahepa Veterans Committee George Dilboy award which was instituted on May 13, 2026 by the inaugural award bestowed to Ahepa Veterans Committee Chairman Retired US Army Colonel Nicholas P. Vamvakias.

District 3 awarded the Dilboy award to Derek Koukies, US Army veteran from the 82nd Airborne division. Brother Koukies served as Fayetteville, NC chapter 9 in many elected positions and most recently as Chapter President.

Yesterday, Arlington National Cemetery played host to a solemn ceremony, as Supreme President Chris Kaitson, accompanied by retired US Army Colonel Dr. George Mclure, Supreme Governor R8, and Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, participated in the time-honored tradition of laying the AHEPA wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns, marking 102 years of tribute to fallen heroes with the haunting melody of Taps.

The Supreme President then departed for Norfolk, VA, to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Robert E. Lee Ahepa Chapter #122, a chapter notable for its esteemed past leaders, including Past Supreme President Gus James.

The event converged with the annual Capitol District 3 convention, attracting a gathering of past supreme and district officers, including Past Supreme Governor Paul Angelson, General Chairman for the event.

The Supreme President was pleased to engage with local chapter members, including Andrew Kopassis, Nick Matthew, Theodore Pantelides, and District Governor Emmanuel Sakiotis. Heartfelt congratulations are in order for all brothers.

Happy Throwback Thursday everyone!😎Tomorrow, Friday, June 5th, the Supreme President will be yet again laying a wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on behalf of AHEPA alongside the Veterans Chairman retired, Col. On Pentecost Sunday, Ahepa Epiphany Chapter 16 commemorated Ahepa Day, with the community uniting to celebrate the occasion, May 17 marked the actual Ahepa Day as recognized by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Led by Chapter President Marinos Post, the chapter organized a social gathering following church services and shared membership information with the community. Happy Belated Ahepa Day!

Supreme President Kaitson continued his visitation schedule with a trip from Florida to South Dakota, specifically to Ahepa Chapter 190.

By the end of May, the Supreme President will have traveled over 20,000 miles visiting chapters. As the annual District Conventions approach, his travels underscore his commitment to visit each District within the year.

During the visit to Chapter 190 in Sioux Falls, SD, the Supreme President was joined by Supreme Governor Thomas Clemons and treated to a dinner where the chapter's community projects were highlighted.

Additionally, Brother Tony Netos was recognized for his 50 years of membership service. All chapters are commended for their relentless efforts to positively impact their communities.
