📣 Nouveau pour 2026.🏅

L'Union Internationale des Alsaciens lance un concours aussi créatif qu'original : "Le Bretzel dans tous ses états" ! Participez en réinventant le bretzel pour célébrer l'Alsace Fan Day !

Le bretzel alsacien se réinvente :
Après le concours "N'importes coiffes !" de 2025, c'est désormais le bretzel, emblème incontournable de l'Alsace, qui devient votre nouveau terrain d'expression créative !

Du 1er avril au 31 mai 2026, l'Union Internationale des Alsaciens (UIA) vous invite à participer au concours "Le Bretzel dans tous ses états !".

Ouvert à toutes et à tous, en solo ou en groupe, ce concours célèbre la créativité sous toutes ses formes. Cette année, il s'agit de créer votre propre bretzel en laissant libre cours à votre imagination.

Artistique, culinaire, décoratif, sculptural ou même conceptuel : imaginez un bretzel unique, réalisé avec les matériaux de votre choix, recyclés, naturels, modernes… ou totalement décalés !

Comment participer ?
Le concours comporte deux catégories :

👉 l'une réservée aux associations affiliées à l'UIA à travers le monde
👉 l'autre ouverte à tous en Alsace
Pour participer, rien de plus simple :
s'inscrire via le formulaire en ligne sur www.alsacefanday.com
envoyer une vidéo (format horizontal) via WeTransfer à l’adresse [email protected]
indiquez vos coordonnées complètes : nom, prénom, adresse email et numéro de téléphone
Un jury composé de représentants du monde institutionnel, alimentaire et artisanal sélectionnera 10 bretzels finalistes à partir des vidéos reçues. Pour les participants en Alsace, ces créations seront exposées lors de la cérémonie de lancement de l'Alsace Fan Day, le 24 juin 2026 à Colmar, où les participants présélectionnés seront invités à présenter leur œuvre. Les lauréats seront dévoilés à l'issue de l'événement.

On Wednesday, March 25, La Maison Française at the Embassy of France in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with the DC Environmental Film Festival and French In Motion, will present the documentary “Glaciers – Ice in Freefall.”

Following the screening, join us for a conversation with renowned glaciologist Heidi Sevestre—author, Fellow International of The Explorers Club, and a scientist with the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme, one of the working groups of the Arctic Council.

As glaciers around the world retreat at unprecedented rates, their disappearance carries profound consequences—from collapsing ice masses and rising sea levels to destabilized ocean currents and expanding glacial lakes. This film follows teams of scientists, glaciologists, and economists working across the globe to better understand these changes and anticipate their impact on millions of lives.

Produced in partnership with UNESCO and aligned with the launch of the International Decade of Glacier Preservation, the documentary offers a global perspective on one of the defining environmental challenges of our time.
