Located in Washington DC, The Rainbow Theatre Project is committed to the passionate exploration of theatre with a focus on works relevant to the Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community. Criteria for plays/musicals:
Plays or musicals should be of literary merit or of entertainment value or both,
And
They should deal directly with the LGBT experience (i.e., The Normal Heart)
or

deal obliquely with the LGBT experience (i.e., Design For Living)
or have a kinship with the LGBT experience (i.e., The Elephant Man)
or is a work by a LGBT playwright, ideally relating to the LGBT experience (i.e., Charles Ludlum, Tennessee Williams or Edward Albee).
