❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚

Today we honor the resilience, strength, and enduring legacy of those who came before us. Juneteenth marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and serves as a reminder that freedom, justice, and equity require continued commitment and action.

As social workers, we recognize that the pursuit of liberation and social justice remains central to our profession and our communities.

The ABSW Metro DC Chapter celebrates Black history, Black excellence, and the ongoing work toward a more just and equitable future.
