Platinum NACE Corporate Member InfoTech presents; Managing Complexity at Scale: Lessons Learned from a $120M Flood Mitigation Project

Delivering a $120M+ infrastructure investment is anything but simple, involving a series of interdependent efforts that must be planned and managed with precision. The Harbor Brook Channel Improvements Project in Meriden, CT, is a prime example: a $120 million program composed of 15 coordinated projects aimed at mitigating flood risk, modernizing aging infrastructure, and improving public access.

In this webinar, hear directly from the engineers and project owners who navigated the project’s complexity, from environmental constraints and contaminated soil management to intricate construction staging that required multiple temporary access roads and stockpile areas. The end result was a transformative project that reduced flood risk, removed 50+ homes from FEMA flood zones, and created lasting environmental and
community impacts.

Centerline rumble strips (CLRS) save lives, but their strength only holds up when there’s a strong pavement foundation beneath them. New research shows reinforcing the joint area with preservation treatments like Void Reducing Asphalt Membrane (VRAM) and Rapid Penetrating Emulsion (RPE) can improve CLRS durability, reduce maintenance and support roadway‑departure safety goals. http://www.facebook.com/jbandthejointsolution
