Women are critical members of the Coast Guard team and have played a major role in the history of the modern and its predecessor services.

Our total workforce is comprised of over 10,000 incredible women who have served the Coast Guard and our nation with excellence throughout history.

The women of our Coast Guard are always ready to lead and execute our massive mission with dedication and commitment.

During Women’s History Month, we recognize and honor the strength and dedication of our sisters-in-arms throughout the Service!
