Rights4Girls

Rights4Girls Rights4Girls is a human rights organization dedicated to ending gender-based violence in the US.

We advocate for the dignity and rights of young women and girls so that every girl can be safe and live a life free of violence and exploitation. Rights4Girls works to change the narrative and policies that criminalize girls who have been impacted by gender-based violence. We advocate for solutions that provide girls and young women with access to safety, justice and support. We do so by centering

the voices and experiences of our most marginalized girls to ensure that their lives are not only contemplated in mainstream conversations around justice reform and gendered violence, but that their needs are made a priority.

Today we were honored to join the Massachusetts Governor’s Office and survivor partners from across the Commonwealth at a press conference announcing efforts to address s*x trafficking and exploitation ahead of the FIFA World Cup. R4G’s Carolina Bazan participated in today’s press conference together with many longtime friends and allies.

Here they all are along with a copy of one of our billboards which will go up in Boston right near the stadium starting next week! ⚽️

“The buyers will help fund the healing of the people they harmed.”

This session, survivors in Illinois bravely testified in support of HB 5783, legislation that would have required s*x buyers to contribute income-based fines into a fund supporting survivor services.

While the bill did not reach the finish line before the end of session, their voices made clear that accountability matters and that those who fuel exploitation should help bear the cost of repairing the harm.

We’re grateful to every survivor who spoke out and every advocate and champion who stood with them.

A full-page ad in The Hill. One urgent ask to Congress.

This week, we joined our colleagues at the END OSEAC coalition — nearly 40 organizations representing survivors, children, families, law enforcement, faith communities, and advocates— as well as over 100 organizations nationwide in calling for immediate passage of the bipartisan STOP CSAM Act.

The proliferation of child s*xual abuse material online is an urgent and growing crisis. Our children deserve action—not delay.

Congress must pass the STOP CSAM Act.
