Announcement: Closure of Kaizen Life Skills Organization
After many years of dedicated service to youth across the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, it is with sincere gratitude and a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Kaizen Life Skills Organization, effective at the end of 2026.
It has truly been an honor and a privilege to provide life skills education, mentorship, and community engagement opportunities to so many young people and families. We are incredibly proud of the impact we have made together and the lives that have been positively influenced through our programs.
Over time, the ongoing demands of recruiting participants, sustaining effective marketing efforts, securing consistent funding, and encouraging family engagement have become increasingly challenging to maintain at the level required to continue delivering the quality of programming our youth deserve. After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to conclude our operations.
We extend our deepest thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey — our participants, parents, mentors, partners, donors, and supporters. Your trust, commitment, and encouragement have meant more than words can express.
While this chapter is coming to a close, the lessons, growth, and connections built through Kaizen LifeSkills will continue to live on.
