Oil and gas companies need to hear from you again. 🐻‍❄️ The sale to drill in the Arctic Refuge is this week. Tell oil and gas companies to safeguard vulnerable polar bears and other species in the refuge by choosing NOT to drill for oil in this region. 🚫

For the third time, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is being opened up for oil and gas leasing. And for the third time, we're fighting back.

We helped keep oil companies out before, and we can do it again. But we need your help. The lease sale is June 5th, and every action counts.

The Arctic Refuge is sacred land, home to the Gwich'in people and vital habitat for polar bears, caribou, and millions of migratory birds. There is no responsible way to drill here.

The Arctic Refuge’s Coastal Plain is sacred to the Gwich’in Nation. Leasing here threatens a way of life that has endured for generations.

We stand with the Gwich’in: oppose leasing and tell companies to stay away.

Share this post and tag ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Repsol, Hilcorp, Santos, and Shell to demand they stay out of the Arctic.

Protect the Arctic Refuge! We’re just one week away from the lease sale, but there’s still time to take action and tell oil companies to stay OUT!

In less than a week, a lease sale is being held in the Arctic Refuge.

The industry and this administration will call it responsible development. They'll talk about modern technology, minimal impact, and American energy independence. But let's be clear: there is no such thing as responsible drilling in one of the last intact wild ecosystems on Earth. Period.

Every pipeline fragments habitat. Every drill pad leaves a mark that outlasts the industry that built it. And the Arctic Refuge, home to polar bears, caribou, migratory birds, and the Gwich'in people who have depended on it for generations, cannot afford the risk.

We need your help telling big oil: hands off the Arctic Refuge. 🐻‍❄️

Public lands should stay public, not handed over to oil companies chasing short-term profits while communities and wildlife bear the cost. The Arctic Refuge is too important to sacrifice for another drilling scheme that most companies already know is a bad bet.

Join us in telling oil companies to stay out!

Last week, the Senate confirmed Steve Pearce as the new Director of the Bureau of Land Management, a man who spent his entire career in Congress fighting against the very lands he's now been handed the keys to.

The BLM oversees some of Alaska's most critical landscapes, places central to subsistence traditions, wildlife habitat, and long-term climate resilience. His confirmation just shows even more clearly the intentions this administration has with our public lands, cozying up to big oil at the expense of everything, and everyone, else.

Our public lands deserve better than this.

The nomination of Steve Pearce to lead the Bureau of Land Management raises major concerns for Alaska public lands, wildlife, and conservation protections.
