The Theta Theta Graduate/Professional Chapter of Sigma Lambda Upsilon/Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorori

The Theta Theta Graduate/ Professional Chapter was established in the Greater DC area in the Fall of 1999. The chapter was created to provide support and continued service to the Hermanas and communities in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. The Theta Theta Graduate/ Professional Chapter was established by the following six Founding Hermanas: Elena De Leon, Diana Gonzales-Dabdub, Ana Luz Rodriguez-King, Yolanda Rios, Nuria Rodriguez, and Cicely Washington.

Sigma Lambda Upsilon/ Señoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority Inc. will not be silent in the face of harm and injustice to the immigrant community.

We stand with Minnesota, with people across the country demanding justice, and all impacted by ICE and federal enforcement. We will stand on the side of human dignity and safety.

To our Hermanas, friends and community, we encourage you to use your voice to speak up and speak out against the violence that has worked to erode civil liberties. It’s time to speak up and take action ✊
