The Theta Theta Graduate/ Professional Chapter was established in the Greater DC area in the Fall of 1999. The chapter was created to provide support and continued service to the Hermanas and communities in Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. The Theta Theta Graduate/ Professional Chapter was established by the following six Founding Hermanas: Elena De Leon, Diana Gonzales-Dabdub, Ana Luz Rodriguez-King, Yolanda Rios, Nuria Rodriguez, and Cicely Washington.

Hispanic Heritage Month is a celebration of our raíces, our roots. The best way to honor our roots is by educating ourselves on the history of our ancestors, their experiences, accomplishments & obstacles. By honoring our roots, we strengthen our connection to our culture and community ✨

Join us this month on September 26th at the Smithsonian’s first U.S. Latino gallery at the National Museum of American History to celebrate, learn, and connect with the rich stories of Latino heritage. We will travel through the musical history of Salsa 💃🏻 through a guided tour. We have reserved 20 tickets, few spots are available. 🍽️ 10% of event sales from the evening will be donated by our friends Grand Cata - the wines & tastes of Latin America to support our fundraising efforts for those affected by the recent earthquakes in Colombia.
