As our industry continues to navigate change, WCCD believes this is precisely the time to gather, recommit to one another, and be reminded of what's possible when women lead, build, and invest in their communities.

Our Sustaining Members Brunch is more than an annual tradition. It is a celebration of the women whose leadership strengthens our neighborhoods, our institutions, and one another.

For one afternoon, the women building communities sat in the same room with the women financing them.

Developers, lenders, investors, and community leaders came together for honest conversations about the challenges, tradeoffs, and opportunities shaping community development today.

The conversations were thoughtful, the questions were candid, and the networking continued long after the panels ended.

Thank you to Priya Jayachandran for setting the tone with inspiring opening remarks, to our moderators Shellon Fraser and Kendra Whitaker Shine for guiding meaningful conversations, and to our panelists Sonja Wells, Eliisa Frazier, Lori Chatman, Ayesha M. Hudson, and Ruth Hoang for sharing their expertise and perspectives. Thank you as well to our partners, and everyone who joined us.

We left with new perspectives, stronger connections, and a shared commitment to moving this work forward together.
