was our friend and comrade since 2013. She loved the free store and joined us with her family. We could never keep up with her energy. Through laughter and even difficult conversations we remained connected. We slept outside the surpeme court during harsh weather conditions to protect DACA. Memories so many. At times some of us believe that we all have time enough to fix our relationships or affairs. To show love and forgiveness towards each other. Reality is we don’t. We will miss you ana. Rest now in peace and enjoy laughing at us as we continue making fools out ourselves :)

Hey everyone! Our are need of funds to their 20h community based street medic training. The DC street medics established in 2015 show up for their community on multiple levels. Throughout covid they stepped into radical care and provided community care. They show up for folks at protests and do pop ups. This training focuses on training BIPOC medicas to expand their capacity.

At approximately 4am, MPD conducted a full sweep of the GWU Gaza Solidarity Encampment and Liberated Zone. They arrested dozens of students as they were sleeping. The community rallied around the students and were met with exceptional brutality, assaulted, pepper sprayed, and arrested. 🚨MPD RAIDS AND BEGINS ARRESTING STUDENTS IN THE DMV GAZA SOLIDARITY ENCAMPMENT AT GWU!

While the community was asleep, MPD surrounded the Shohada’ Square with over 100 police officers, discarding tents, personal belongings, and artwork. This cowardly attack on our encampment in the middle of the night is a shameful display of violence and repression against students. Paired with the timing of the Congressional hearing on the encampment at GWU later today, it is clear that this was a coordinated attack led by GWU administration. WASHINGTON DC!! SUPPORT STUDENTS NOW!!! WE KEEP US SAFE!!
GWU Administration and MPD threaten students with punitive actions TONIGHT! We will not allow their zionist, fascist threats to deter us. Students are calling on the DMV community of conscience to rally in full force at 6 pm today at George Washington University Yard to protect our students as they take a principled stand for Gaza! 

Students have been instructed by the corrupt and complicit GWU admin that they must leave by 7pm. After years of targeted attacks and threats by the GWU administration against Palestinian and pro-Palestine students, their tactic to suppress the student’s right to protest is another despicable attempt to silence dissent and questioning of the University’s complicity in the Zionist settler colonial project in Palestine and Genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Rally TONIGHT to strengthen the encampment in solidarity with Palestine and in protest of the university’s zionist policies.

WE DEMAND:

1. Drop the charges against pro-Palestine student organizers.
2. Protect pro-Palestine speech on campus.
3. Divest from companies selling technology and weapons to the zionist regime. 
4. Immediately disclose all endowments and investments.
5. End all academic partnerships with the zionist state of Israel
