y for arts education. DCYE has performed in every theatre in the District of Columbia and outside of the metropolitan region inclusive of but not limited to, Los Angeles, CA. ,Phil.,PA, and New York City, NY. The Ensemble has been highlighted in numerous media including , newspapers, magazines, television and radio. The Ensemble has performed and been recognized at the world famous “Fringe” Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland after being nominated by Arena Stage. DCYE alumni work in films, television, dance companies and on Broadway. DC Youth Ensemble's director and staff are committed to providing and sustaining summer and year-round arts program for youth in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. DCYE welcomes all to participate in the focused support of young artists and arts organizations that contribute to the unique cultural ecology of our community. We are: Actors, Arts Professionals, Arts Supporters, Dancers, Directors, Designers, Musicians, Media Artists, Filmmakers, Poets, Visual Artists, Writers, and everyone who wishes to collaborate and sustain arts programs for youth in the DC Metropolitan area.
