We’re proud to join an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court urging SCOTUS to uphold the constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship.

The 14th Amendment and 100+ years of legal precedent are clear: all individuals born in the United States are citizens. Period.

The president can’t unilaterally change that.

Citizenship is the key that unlocks the door to democratic participation. The 14th Amendment’s guarantee of citizenship — regardless of who one’s parents are — is essential to maintaining a government that is representative of all Americans.

Many thanks to , , and for your leadership.

To close out the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, BVP pulled up to ’s event in New York City to capture history-makers challenging the idea that history is merely something that already happened. We believe history is something you make, every day.

While we honor veterans who came before us and their courage and resilience, is about what comes next. Veterans, people who already answered one call to serve, are exactly the ones positioned to answer another.

Fifty veterans were hand-selected by and brought together at The Loft Story in Brooklyn. Four speakers, , Samantha Gibson, , and , came to share how they built something from nothing, took risks most people wouldn’t, and bet on themselves when nobody else did. Finance. Business. Fashion. Three completely different lanes, one common thread: they didn’t wait for permission to .

The message was clear: You already proved you can show up when it matters. Now show up for yourself. Be historic in your own life, in your family, your community, your career, your business. Stop waiting for someone to honor your story and start writing the next chapter. .

BVP co-CEO spoke with about rising racial tensions across the U.S. military as the Trump regime eviscerates diversity, equity and inclusion programs, guts affirmative action, stifles equal opportunity, reinstates confederate namesakes, and puts forth shaving mandates that adversely impact Black troops. The intent is to reinforce a racial hierarchy in uniform, undermine and purge Black leadership and stifle racial progress across the Armed Forces.

At a time when the legacy of Black military service is being erased, we wanted to capture the presence of Black veterans at the 106th annual New York City Veterans Day Parade, the largest celebration honoring veterans in the nation.

Today, we honor the generations of Black service members whose contributions have shaped and continue to shape the course of our nation’s history. We salute you.
