Aschiana Foundation USA

The Aschiana Foundation in the United States is operated by a volunteer Board of Directors to support Aschiana's programs in Afghanistan.

The majority of funds raised by the Foundation go directly to Aschiana in Afghanistan. In Afghanistan, Aschiana has trained, nourished and mentored more than 50,000 children and young adults in Afghanistan. In Kabul, Aschiana operates six centers, including one for older girls who receive vocational training and basic education, and an emergency center for children separated from their families. A

schiana also provides home-based schooling for girls unable to go to the centers. Aschiana has eight other centers in Mazar-e-Sharif, Parwan, Heart, and Gardez with programs including vocational training and recovery for children scarred by conflict.
