On May 2, the Day of Service at Brigadier General Charles E. McGee Post 341 was a tremendous success, highlighted by a vibrant and impactful health fair for our community. The Black Nurses Association of Greater Washington DC along with the Vet Center to provide valuable health resources and support to all who attended.

We were also honored to have a Benefits Advisor and a representative from Disabled American Veterans (DAV), along with the dedicated members of the Post 341 VFW Auxiliary, all working together to ensure veterans and their families received the information and assistance they deserve.

Adding to the spirit of the day, Coleman’s Kitchen served up delicious food that brought everyone together in fellowship and community.

A special thank you to Mr. Julian Purdy Director Veteran Affairs Wash DC. for his presence and continued support of our veterans. Most importantly, we extend our deepest gratitude to every veteran who attended—we are always here to support and serve you. And to everyone who came out, your presence made this day truly meaningful.
