At District Children Rooted by Literacy, we provide a full day summer literacy program to all families interested in increasing their children's reading ability. In addition to reading workshop and explicit reading instruction, we provide literacy enrichment via theatrical troupes, debates and exposure trips.

Tracey Roach's memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2014 at St Paul AME Church in Washington, D.C. .
The viewing will be from 12pm to 2pm. The service will be from 2pm to 3pm. The repast will be from 3pm to 5pm ish.
Tracey's family is trying to manage the attendance and arrangements accordingly. If you plan on attending or would like to send flowers/ rememberance gifts please notify her oldest son, Kashif Sweet, at [email protected] or on his cell ( please text or leave a voicemail) at 646-552-4310. He will put you in touch with the appropriate coordinator at the church.

57 of us had a fantastic weekend in Niagara Falls and Toronto! We learned about the Great Lakes and hydroelectricity, saw the incredible Falls, explored the city of Toronto and took a trip up in the CN Tower to see the city from inside one of the seven wonders of the modern world!
