Who left CBAA 50 Weekend with a new addition to their library ?🙋🏾‍♀️📕 Backtalker: An American Memoir written by is available for pre-order now and goes on sale May 5th. It tells a story of identity, defiance, and the undeniable impact of a woman who has shaped our history and given the world language to better understand race, gender, and justice.

During CBAA 50 Weekend, CBAA members got first dibs and signed copies. With this story, Crenshaw joins fellow Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA) 50th Anniversary Distinguished Honoree Tom Jones in authoring memoirs about their remarkable journeys thus far. Going home from CBAA50 Weekend with a copy of Backtalker and From Willard Straight to Wall Street in our bags was just what a lot of us needed. Congratulations to on your new book. Your CBAA family wishes you much success💛

It’s one thing to know that you share an alma mater with giants like , , and ; but to hear from them directly about how their experiences on the hill shaped them and the legacies they continue to build, is priceless.

During the Cornell Black Alumni Association’s 50th Anniversary Gala Weekend, we partied hard; but in true Cornell fashion, we also dug deep. On the morning of the gala, we came together for a Fireside Chat with our Distinguished Honorees facilitated by CBAA President Emeritus and Gala host where they reflected on their time on campus and how it shaped their identities and work thereafter. We wrapped with a discussion about what responsibility we all have to those coming behind us.

Thank you to our outstanding Honorees for joining us this weekend, and more importantly, for your lifetime commitments to service and leadership.

More on Weekend to come💌

And after the party… is the after party. See y’all there! Non-gala attendees are welcome.

Somebody said the reason some of y’all are still single is because you’re not involved with CBAA 🤷🏾‍♀️💍 Congratulations are in order for Gregory Campbell ‘75 and Regina Little ‘78!! Greg and Regina’s earliest moments together can be traced back to CBAA, so what better time to pop the question than CBAA 50 weekend? We’ll see the newly engaged couple tonight at the Fundraising Gala✨
