What a week at the SACC Summit 2025!

Hosted together with , we had a 3 day summit packed with panels, networking, and discussions. We explored five insightful panels on defense, life science, cleantech, telecommunications, and global collaboration in our Beyond Borders discussion.

We wrapped up the summit with an internal day where SACC representatives and interns got to share stories and best practices across the network.

In this edition of eCurrents, we bring you updates from Washington, where a government stalemate threatens mass federal layoffs and economic strain, even as the Supreme Court opens its new term to consider a pivotal case on former President Trump’s use of emergency powers for global tariffs.

We are excited to highlight the upcoming SACC Summit, hosted by the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce in San Diego. This key event is an opportunity to gather all the 19th Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce across the United States, bringing together hundreds of business leaders, innovators and decision-makers from both sides of the Atlantic for three days of cross-country insights, collaborations and premium networking.

We also recap our recent visit to New York City and Washington, D.C. with the Board of Directors of Swedish Chambers International.
