Earlier this month, member Pyae Sone Aung reflected on the meaning of family in honor of .

His words remind us that family, whether biological or chosen, is at the core of our shared humanity.

Read and share his reflection:
"I honor every family separated, every family rebuilding, and every family that continues to choose love, even after loss. Because no matter where life takes us, family is the foundation of our humanity.

From separation and hardship to resilience and hope, I’ve learned that family is not just blood, but the people who stand with you when everything feels uncertain. It is the hands that lift you up in displacement, the voices that remind you you belong, and the community that turns pain into strength."
