Potomac Pedalers is a non-profit educational, recreational and social organization for bicycling enthusiasts in the MD/DC/VA area, with rides each weekend.

Potomac Pedalers is a non-profit educational, recreational and social organization for bicycling enthusiasts. We are one of the largest bicycle clubs in the United States, and the largest in the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area. Potomac Pedalers is affiliated with the League of American Bicyclists. Our energies are directed primarily toward providing a weekend ride schedule to accommodate the experience and ability of each member, whether novice or veteran.

This Friday 10/16, donate your gently used bikes in Montgomery County with . The Bike Match program has provided bikes to over 1,000 Montgomery County residents since the program began in June 2020, but there are still over 450 on the waiting list hoping for a bike.

Donated bicycles should be in good working condition or in need of only minor repairs. Rockville Bike Hub volunteers will refurbish the bikes, and MCDOT will place them with children and adults in the County through MCDOT Bike Match or the Rockville Terrific Kids program.

Opa! This ride starts in Arlington and culminates just 3 miles from St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, who are holding a Greek Festival with music, dancing, and food! If you want to enjoy the festival, consider bringing $20-$25 and a bike lock.

The route is moderately hilly, but the ride leader will ride at a CC pace. Faster riders are welcome to join in to be first in line at the festival. Register to ride at potomacpedalers.org!

We are officially TWO WEEKS AWAY from our bikepacking adventure! Have you registered yet?

This trip is designed for fit cyclists interested in bikepacking, touring, and adventure riding. Riders should be comfortable riding multiple consecutive days and navigating along a mix of paved and unpaved surfaces. Previous multi-day riding experience is helpful, but riders who are comfortable carrying gear and riding long distances will also enjoy this trip!

It's almost the holiday weekend! Do your plans include a ride with PPTC?

Spend Labor Day enjoying a special edition of The Usual Monday Ride. The Group will start out together at Glen Echo, but split half way through the ride in Travilah. Those wishing to go on the longer ride will follow the ride leader to Poolesville before returning to Glen Echo. Those preferring the 30 mile route will return with the assistant ride leader to Glen Echo Park.

Two options, both a great way to spend your holiday.
