Join us on Monday, April 24, 2017, for a presentation and Q&A session of the refined concept design for what will be the largest park built as part of the NoMa Parks plan.

Landscape architecture firm Nelson Byrd Woltz has been hard at work refining the concept design for the future “NoMa Green” (working title; final name of park TBD), located on Harry Thomas Way NE, just south of R Street NE.

The “NoMa Green” Community Meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and will also be held at the Hilton Garden Inn (1225 First Street NE).

Join us for the next broad meeting regarding all of the NoMa Parks projects. This meeting’s focus will be on the 3rd and L Park, with an introduction of the Friends of NoMa Dogs (FOND) and a presentation of the final design for the park by Lee and Associates. Additionally, we’ll share an update of work completed thus far in the life of the Foundation and what’s to come in the next few years.

Saturday is going to be a beautiful day, and what better way to spend it than to join in the conversation about parks coming to NoMa! Tomorrow, from 10am-Noon, we'll be outside at NoMa Junction @ Storey Park (1005 First Street NE) talking about PARKS!!

Come by for NPF’s next parks update, including sharing a refined concept for the 3rd and L Park. The second half of the meeting will be optional tours to the NoMa Green (via the MBT) and the 3rd and L Park sites. We’ll provide a light breakfast; be sure to wear your walking shoes!

The NoMa Parks Foundation invites you to a community gathering on March 29th to learn about NoMa's parks projects and discuss how to make the neighborhood more beautiful and enjoyable.

At this gathering, the third Community Conversation, we'll highlight a new community engagement tool, host a design workshop for kids, and kick off planning for the future park at 3rd and L Streets NE.

Join us at the Hilton Garden Inn for a light dinner beginning at 6:00 PM; the formal portion of the evening begins at 6:30 PM.
