The DMV Doodles and DMV Spaniels are partnering up again to host a Yappy Hour with Capital SUP on Saturday, 29 August 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Eastport location (655 Americana Drive, Annapolis, Maryland 21403). dog ice cream & oven-baked meals & cakesđŸŠđŸ¶ dog froyo will be providing samples post paddle!

No prior experience is necessary! Rentals include a life vest for you, and we recommend getting a life vest for your dog as it makes it easier to lift them back onto your rental if they go for a swim! đŸ¶đŸ’Š You can rent one as well, but sizes are limited. The staff at Capital SUP will assist you in getting onto your standup paddleboard or kayak first, and then help your dog join you. If this is your or your dog’s first time, dogs tend to feel more relaxed when they’re with other dogs. If your dog enjoys the water, feel free to bring along a floating toy for them to chase!

Bring Your Own Kayak - $30
Single Kayak - Need Equipment - $40
Double Kayak - Need Equipment - $70
(Plus a small booking fee)

Please note: Dogs must be leashed at all times while on land. Photos will be taken throughout the event and shared with all attendees.

After the event, feel free to explore dog-friendly Downtown Annapolis, where you can find restaurants with outdoor seating for you and your dog. You can also visit SEA DOG PET BOUTIQUE to pick up a toy, treat, or accessories for your pup!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We have limited availability (maximum of 15 dogs), and you are welcome to bring family or friends even without dogs; just let us know if you need additional rentals! Bogey’s Mix, a Virginia based fresh dog food company, will be providing samples post paddle!

Head over to the Henway Hard Cider Barn and join Banks for an afternoon for Doodle and Poodle Meet Up and enjoy a laid-back summer day. Enjoy plenty of open space for playful meet-and-greets and relaxing farm walks. Check out the Stick Library for shared toys and games of fetch. Don’t miss the group photo at 2:00 PM! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome, and encourage encourage tennis balls, bandanas, and wagging tails! No tickets are needed for this wonderful day.

Join us for a private (doodle exclusive) The DMV Doodles Yappy Hour on Sunday, 28 June 2026 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Capital SUP - Eastport location (655 Americana Drive Annapolis, Maryland 21403).

No experience is required! Rentals include a lifevest for the human. We recommend purchasing a lifevest for your dog as it’s easier to lift them back on to your rental or you can rent one, however, sizes are limited. The staff at Capital SUP will have you get on your rental (standup paddleboard or kayak) first and then assist your dog in joining you. If this is you and/or your doodle’s first time, we tend to see the dog’s more relaxed being with other dogs! If your dog loves the water, feel free to bring a floating toy for them to swim after! We will end the Yappy Hour with froyo provided by dog ice cream & oven-baked meals & cakesđŸŠđŸ¶!
