Greenskies Renewable Energy is installing five solar systems (totally 1.5 MW) at five Trumbull, CT schools this year. The systems will be entirely owned and operated by Greenskies, allowing the schools to benefit from the energy and financial savings, at no cost out of pocket.

"Trumbull is at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution among municipalities," said James Desantos Greenskies' vice president of business development.

A company will install, own, and maintain the solar panels at no cost to the town. The town will buy electricity produced by the panels.
