Mentor Village Mentor Village is an online community where parents can use the concept of "it takes a village to raise a child" as a resource to help our children.

In this community, we encourage you to share resources, ask questions, get feedback, and share stories. As a mentor, you do not need to play the role of a psychologist, case worker, or parent

Your personality, and willingness to help will guide you through mentoring. Your mentee can be successful. All they need is you. Mentoring is about taking the time to get involved. It is not about money, gi

fts, or events. Mentoring is often engaging in what appears ordinary to most of us…playing games, talking, learning about different jobs. But to a child without a role model in their life, those activities are extraordinary. When a child sees you showing up for them each time, that’s what makes the difference. Your job, education, nor income level matter to a young person. He wants to know you, not your resume.
